Invisalign Provider: A Clear Alternative to Braces

Invisalign® is the orthodontic treatment option most chosen by adults because there’s no need to change your diet. Invisalign® is free of metal braces and brackets and uses removable trays that can be taken out prior to meals. Invisalign® is also the best option for busy adults because there is no need to attend frequent dental visits for wire tightening. Our Invisalign® patients simply change to a new aligner tray every 2 weeks.
Benefits of Invisalign®
Invisalign® aligners are virtually invisible. The clear aligners make it hard for anyone to tell that your teeth are currently being re-aligned. Invisalign® aligners are removable. To get the best results aligners should be worn for 20 to 22 hours per day. The aligners can also be removed to brush and floss as you normally would, for fresh breath and good oral hygiene. Invisalign® also doesn’t use any metals, so there is no irritation to the mouth or gums. Also, because there is no regular dental visits to adjust wires, you’ll spend less time in the dentist’s chair.
How Does It Work?
Each set of aligners last 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually align until they have straightened to their final positions. You’ll only have to visit us about once every six weeks to ensure that your teeth are progressing as planned. Total treatment time usually averages about 9 to 15 months. The average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
